One!

Today we celebrate and are amazed that our baby girl is one year old. One year ago today Melissa woke me up and told me that this might be the day. With a mixture of skepticism and experience we calmly ate breakfast, showered, made arrangements for Ethan, and packed before heading to the hospital. Ella was born that afternoon and since then our days and nights have been exhausting filled with joy.

This evening we ate a meal of foods Ella usually likes, enjoyed a cupcake, and opened presents from her parents and family. Take a look at our pictures to experience for yourself.
